Mood of the Moment: Freakishly awake!
Music of the Moment: None, actually, I think if I try to play music my pc will crash...
Hola ladies and Gents!!! Ok, so, let me tell you...I have fallen in love with the most odd and unusual thing on the planet. I have only my dear friend Emily to thank for it. Ok, so for forever she has been trying to get me to go Contra Dancing with her...and I finally did...after delaying forever, partially because of an injured arm, and partially because I was like "what, dancing, me??? Uhhh....no, not possible..."But I discovered that the people really dont care if you have two left feet, no rhythm, no coordination...nothing at all....nobody cares...and it is really quite fun!!! See, generally, I do not do well with meeting people...and I was petrified that nobody would ask me to dance, because I couldn't very well dance with emily due to the fact that we are both girls...and you are generally supposed to dance with a different partner each time. I did have people ask me though. I ended up having to sit out one dance...because nobody asked me and there were more guys in the hall than girls, but a couple dances after that the person that I danced with was like "I promise that you wont have to sit down again, I'll see to it!" he was cool. So yea, afterwards I was like "Emily, when can we come back!!!" and we basically decided to go to the hall in winston this Tuesday, and I say right here and now that ANYONE who would like to come with us, IM me, call me, or leave a comment here, and I'll get back to you...I do get on here everyday, even if I dont post anything. But yea, make sure that you check out the link that I have up there, it is a pretty good site that tells a lot about what contra dancing is...because I am not very good at explaining it. In all actuality, I am probrobly really wierd for liking it....but hey, you can at least give it a try cant you??? Not that I am trying to force anyone, haha, it is just that Emily was like "Invite everyone you know..." so...tah dah!!! HAHA!! (ok, so just to level with everyone completely, I am quite terrified about taking anyone I know, because even though I like it doesn't mean that ANYONE else will, and I have this big fear that everyone will think that I am even wierder than they already thought...but hey, I am country...as much as I hate to admit it, I am....I enjoy the idea of a bunch of people dancing around, possibly looking like idiots, to a live band of a fiddle and keyboard, or something like that...I am just wierd like that...but oh well, if someone thinks less of me simply because of something like that...then i guess that I really wouldn't want the approval of someone like that anyway....there that is my little blurb for the day...)
Anywho...today I went swimming, even though it rained, with my family. Fun, Fun... Then I came home and talked on the phone with Brian B....who I haven't talked to in a while (or, at least, what I consider to be a while...)so that was quite nice, then I watched the Wizard of Oz....then talked to Crystal for a bit, and I am currently blogging....the end...so yea, I'm off now, tomorrow is going to be a hellacious day for me....but I'll make it....and then it will be TUESDAY!!!! WOOT!!! haha, later y'all...
